Base Salary
$128k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and architecture for complex systems.
- Design and implement embedded software for drone vehicles.
- Characterize, integrate, and validate key subsystems like cameras and radios.
- Bring up and debug new hardware components.
- Write interfaces and drivers for sensors and devices.
Requirements
- Proficient in modern C++ for real-time embedded environments.
- Experience in Python development.
- Ability to write clean code with appropriate abstraction boundaries.
- Familiarity with SOC development, especially Qualcomm devices.
- Practical experience in writing firmware for physical devices.
- Knowledge of embedded Linux userspace and kernel development.
- Fundamental understanding of low-level firmware.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and system debugging.
- Knowledge of debugging systems at the ARM assembly code level.
- Experience in embedded security and cryptographic firmware development.
