Responsibilities
- Write and own software running across Apple’s server infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and execute security services and applications.
- Build software for authorization and access controls at Apple’s scale.
- Develop secure foundational infrastructure components that protect Apple’s data.
- Distill ambiguous use cases and requirements into software applications.
- Partner with teammates and stakeholders on security infrastructure projects.
- Design and handle systems requiring high performance, scalability, and availability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience delivering high-quality enterprise software.
- Experience writing applications in Rust, C++, C, and/or Go.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of distributed-systems design patterns and security implications.
- Knowledge of network architecture, server fleet provisioning and configuration, out-of-band management, storage, load balancing, virtualization, and Kubernetes.
- In-depth knowledge of SSL, TCP/IP, caching solutions, X.509 certificates, and systems application performance tuning.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented architecture design concepts.
- Experience with Linux and shell scripts.
- Ability to work collaboratively on fast-paced projects.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
