Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of conversational AI and customer-experience applications, moving prototypes into production-grade agentic workflows.
- Architect and code conversational flows integrating Google conversational AI products with customer APIs, legacy data silos, live infrastructure, and security perimeters.
- Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to optimize reasoning loops, tool selection, latency, security, and networking.
- Identify repeatable field patterns and technical friction points and convert them into reusable modules or product feature requests.
- Co-build with customer engineering teams to establish development best practices and support long-term project success and end-user adoption.
- Lead technical delivery for customer conversational AI pilots and establish initial Customer User Journeys at customer sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using Python or similar coding languages.
- Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms such as GCP.
- Experience deploying resources with Terraform or similar infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience building full-stack applications that interact with enterprise IT infrastructure and developing external customer projects.
- Preferred experience implementing multi-agent systems with approaches or frameworks such as ReAct and self-reflection.
- Preferred experience debugging agent logic, optimizing tool selection, tracing conversation IDs across microservices, and resolving failures in real time.
- Preferred experience connecting agents to enterprise knowledge bases and optimizing RAG chunking.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Track record of troubleshooting live, high-traffic systems during critical windows.
- A master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
