Base Salary
$141k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate embedded software in C and C++.
- Build embedded and system test software using C/C++ and Python.
- Develop and deploy Linux applications in Python, C/C++, and Rust.
- Build and deploy FreeRTOS applications in C/C++.
- Develop applications for microprocessors, embedded processors, and FPGAs.
- Design and implement bare-metal embedded device drivers.
- Debug and resolve complex integration issues.
- Design CI/CD infrastructure and automation services.
- Improve product reliability and security.
- Lead design reviews and documentation tasks within an Agile SCRUM development framework.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience using C/C++.
- Expertise with multithreaded applications and inter-process communication.
- Understanding of real-time concepts on embedded Linux or RTOS platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- US citizenship is required for this government position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.
- Preferred experience includes C/C++ software development, CI/CD practices, AI toolkits and platforms, Git, GitHub, Jira, Jama, Artifactory, FPGA-based architectures, Linux kernel driver development or modifications, RTOS and standalone embedded applications, Ethernet standards and protocols, network security protocols, Python development, and emulation environments.
