Base Salary
$209k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI systems including RAG pipelines and LLM-powered features.
- Make principled technical decisions regarding AI system architecture and tool usage.
- Evaluate model outputs rigorously and implement guardrails for production use.
- Own model deployment, monitoring, and optimization for reliability at scale.
- Contribute across backend and frontend to ship complete AI products.
- Partner with product and design teams to frame problems before coding.
- Stay current on AI research and tooling to apply relevant advances.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with LLM-powered systems and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Strong technical depth in system design and architecture.
- Experience in ensuring technical quality beyond individual features.
- Strong command of model evaluation and bias-variance tradeoffs.
- Solid understanding of modern model architectures like transformers.
- Experience in productionizing AI systems in live environments.
- Strong full-stack fundamentals for shipping user-facing AI products.
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining technical decisions.
- Demonstrated product thinking and ability to assess build viability.
