Responsibilities
- Build and extend photorealistic digital twin environments in Unreal Engine 5 for industrial systems, robotic fleets, and logistics operations.
- Develop Blueprints and C++ modules for simulation logic, physical-system behavior, user interaction, dynamic asset loading, and level streaming.
- Connect Unreal Engine visualizations to real-time telemetry, sensor inputs, and machine-learning outputs from analytics pipelines.
- Integrate and extend the SAS Connector and third-party Unreal Engine plugins.
- Profile, diagnose, and resolve performance and stability issues using Unreal Insights and engine profiling tools.
- Support team standards for pipeline management and version control, including Perforce and Plastic SCM.
- Follow secure software development policies and contribute to open-source projects when appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing interactive 3D applications with Unreal Engine, including Blueprints and C++.
- Experience taking at least one real-time 3D or simulation project from prototype through release.
- Working knowledge of integrating external data using JSON, REST, WebSocket, or MQTT.
- Experience working in a team-based content pipeline under Perforce, Plastic SCM, or Git version control.
- Experience with Unreal Engine server/client architecture and network replication.
- Digital twin, industrial simulation, enterprise visualization, analytics or streaming-data experience is beneficial.
- Game industry experience or a portfolio of shipped titles or interactive experiences is beneficial.
