Responsibilities
- Test, deploy, and troubleshoot CHAOS products in customer environments.
- Translate customer workflows into clear product and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with core engineering teams to prioritize feedback, shape product direction, and drive delivery.
- Design and build software products that connect CHAOS capabilities with customer mission needs.
- Integrate edge-sensor data into customer systems.
- Apply and develop machine learning and AI solutions to applied problems using sensor-data analysis.
- Travel to customer sites and CHAOS offices in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., typically up to 25%.
Requirements
- Strong technical foundation, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
- Ability and willingness to travel, typically up to 25%, with flexibility for higher travel periods when needed.
- At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred, particularly in a defense context.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, modern front-end frameworks, Git, SSH, and Linux-based systems is preferred.
- Experience applying machine learning or AI techniques to real-world or customer-facing problems is preferred.
- Existing UK security clearance or eligibility to obtain it is preferred.
