Responsibilities
- Partner with business users to understand processes, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Turn prototypes into secure, scalable, production-ready applications.
- Build dashboards, applications, APIs, integrations, automated workflows, and AI-powered solutions.
- Support data pipelines and integrations with the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Build agentic applications using memory, tools, skills, and evaluation capabilities.
- Deploy applications with production-grade observability and provide production support.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, improve reliability, and maintain operational documentation.
- Implement authentication and role-based access using enterprise identity platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, security and platform teams, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute reusable components, patterns, and engineering best practices to the core AI Platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering and building and deploying production applications.
- Experience working directly with users or business stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python and full-stack engineering with React or an equivalent modern frontend framework and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of database systems, SQL, NoSQL, data modelling, ETL pipelines, gRPC APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab or an equivalent CI/CD platform, and infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform.
- Working knowledge of OIDC, SAML, and Azure Entra ID for identity and access management.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, prompt engineering, AI evaluation frameworks, and AI observability or guardrails.
- Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
- Experience with enterprise applications, financial services, commodities, or other complex business environments is helpful but not essential.
- Additional experience with Go or Java is a plus.
