Base Salary
$166k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve shared frontend foundations, including reusable components and tooling.
- Define architecture, standards, and best practices for scalable frontend systems.
- Enhance customer-facing product surfaces across the Alloy platform.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to create durable solutions.
- Raise the quality bar for frontend engineering through design and implementation.
- Improve developer experience by streamlining workflows and reducing friction.
- Identify opportunities to modernize frontend software development.
- Contribute as a senior engineer by driving technical decisions and mentoring others.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a senior frontend engineer.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building complex web applications with modern frameworks like React.
- Strong engineering judgment balancing product needs and maintainability.
- Experience with shared systems such as design systems or developer tooling.
- Commitment to quality in terms of performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and shape evolving problem spaces.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
