Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of platform capabilities used by thousands of software pipelines across the company.
- Re-architect the enterprise CI/CD platform and define contracts and abstractions that enable safe system evolution.
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
- Set engineering standards and improve the quality and craft of software delivery.
- Build compliance and controls directly into the software delivery platform.
- Work across JVM languages, Go, Python, TypeScript, containers, Kubernetes, workflow engines, and AWS services.
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: master’s degree.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
- Preferred: 1+ years of people management experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
