Responsibilities
- Translate business problems into scalable AI/ML solutions with product, data, engineering, architecture, and business teams.
- Design, build, deploy, evaluate, and monitor end-to-end machine learning and LLM-based systems.
- Develop data pipelines, models, prompts, APIs, monitoring systems, semantic search, RAG pipelines, and embedding-based solutions.
- Build production-ready AI/ML services, APIs, pipelines, and reusable components with attention to performance, scalability, reliability, usability, and operational readiness.
- Perform technical design and code reviews, provide technical leadership, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior team members.
- Coordinate on-call support and monitor AI/ML model performance and system reliability.
- Lead or contribute to multiple small to medium-sized projects, technical decisions, change requests, engineering standards, and technical direction.
- Research emerging AI technologies and recommend enterprise applications while supporting data information planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and at least five years of related experience.
- Experience with multidimensional platforms and business and technical applications.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be accepted.
- Advanced Python skills for machine learning and data processing are preferred.
- Experience across the full machine learning lifecycle, including development, deployment, and monitoring, is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, modern NLP techniques, and vector search technologies such as OpenSearch is preferred.
- Experience building production AI systems, APIs, pipelines, microservices, and ML/LLM evaluation frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles, cloud-based ML platforms, scalable architectures, AWS Bedrock or equivalent providers, healthcare data privacy and regulatory requirements, multiple databases or programming languages, mentoring, and project leadership is preferred.
