Responsibilities
- Act as a presales technical advisor for architectures, systems, and cross-business-unit solution sales.
- Lead customer technical discussions, requirements validation, site walks, technical assessments, and solution value propositions.
- Design solution layouts and system architectures that address customer needs and deliver measurable value.
- Support business-unit offers, moderate-complexity opportunities, multiple sellers, and engagement of architects and internal resources.
- Validate quotations and maintain reference architectures and segment solution requirements.
- Partner with sales on RFIs, RFPs, and service proposals.
- Drive continuous improvement with Services Excellence teams and provide feedback to Offer Management.
- Coach and mentor internal sales and delivery teams to build broader technical capability.
Requirements
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited institution is required, although relevant work experience may be considered.
- Strong understanding of Schneider Electric portfolios, including APC, Square D, and software offerings, is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with digital tools, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong situational awareness, communication, collaboration, strategic planning, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to support modernization, maintenance or recurring services, consulting, and digital services engagements.
- Ability to travel 25%–40% within the assigned geography with sales teams for technical discussions and onsite assessments.
- Understanding of business finance and ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
