Responsibilities
- Design, experiment on, implement, and test low-latency, highly scalable systems supporting thousands of concurrent advertisers and millions of customers.
- Build advertising experiences across Amazon devices and entertainment products.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including coding, design, testing, source control, build processes, and operations.
- Work with diverse collaborators across software, data science, device hardware, mobile applications, and desktop web experiences.
- Design and develop reliable, scalable, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Base salary is listed at $158,100.00–$213,800.00 annually, with potential sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
