Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate reliable, scalable infrastructure in AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Contribute to Kubernetes, Helm charts, Argo deployment systems, and deployment guardrails.
- Improve observability using OpenMetrics and Datadog.
- Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code and reusable infrastructure patterns.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, and artifact repositories using tools including BuildKit, GitHub Actions, Gradle, Bazel, npm, pnpm, Bun, Go, Cargo, Artifactory, ECR, and GitHub.
- Improve incident response tooling and partner with product teams on changes affecting the engineering organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience with substantial production infrastructure work.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills, preferably with Terraform.
- Ability to build automation and production tooling in a general-purpose programming language.
- Experience participating in incident response and blameless post-mortems or COE processes.
- Knowledge of infrastructure security, IAM, networking, and change management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for design and incident documentation.
- Preferred experience operating AWS at scale across multiple accounts, regions, and availability zones.
- Preferred experience with GitOps, Argo CD, OIDC, disaster recovery, business continuity, resilience testing, and cloud cost efficiency.
