Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3 customizations for Service Management and Project Management Accounting.
- Implement approved business change requests in adherence to the organization’s AX template.
- Provide third-level technical support, bug fixing, and application/system management.
- Track and resolve AX performance issues, including code-related issues and cache functionality.
- Work with subject matter experts, solution architects, business system specialists, project managers, consultants, and the wider AX ERP team.
- Support code merges across different AX code layers and work with ISV solutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of related Finance, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and Product Configuration Management modules.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX development experience across AX modules.
- Expertise in the X++ language and medium-level understanding of C#.
- Experience using DevOps with an AX code repository.
- Knowledge of AX development concepts, architecture, AIF, SSRS reports, data management, Enterprise Portal, and SQL in connection with Microsoft AX.
- Experience working with ISVs and merging code across different AX code layers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3 and related systems, business processes, and internal processes.
- Experience in large global Microsoft AX installations and strong interest in application/system management.
- IT-relevant education.
- Effective written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to read technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with operating systems such as Windows.
- Ability to obtain or possess a valid passport and be legally eligible to work in the hiring country.
