Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver high-quality scalable software solutions.
- Build and manage robust, secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines supporting digital solutions.
- Develop and maintain solutions using IBM Sterling File Gateway technologies and file-transfer protocols.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other functions to define requirements and ensure integration.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and unit testing.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes and contribute to operational excellence.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, advise stakeholders, and communicate complex technical information.
- Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through complex technical work.
Requirements
- Experience with the IBM Sterling File Gateway suite, including Sterling Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, and Sterling Control Centre, is highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and working knowledge of Shell scripting and Java.
- Basic understanding of deployment processes and CI/CD concepts, including familiarity with Jenkins and other CI tools.
- Strong knowledge of version control using Git.
- Knowledge of cloud, containers, and Kubernetes concepts is advantageous.
- Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, Connect:Direct, and certificate management concepts including TLS, SSL, and OCSP.
- Knowledge of Linux or other UNIX-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with workflow applications and business rules engines.
- Experience with Oracle or SQL databases is desirable.
- Good communication skills and knowledge of ITIL are advantageous.
