Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable, high-quality production software.
- Build full-stack solutions using back-end and front-end technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and React.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software code meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns and improve application coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve engineering effectiveness.
- Support application testing, operational stability, resiliency, and secure software delivery.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency with React, JavaScript, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and secure, resilient software engineering practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud and distributed technologies.
