Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain distributed systems consisting of React web applications and Java Spring Boot services.
- Develop and maintain TypeScript/React component libraries for frontend development.
- Contribute across the complete service lifecycle, including design, build, and run.
- Perform development, support, and operational tasks for service applications.
- Analyze, resolve, and sustainably prevent production and stability problems.
- Build and further develop service and operational structures and support release and operations processes.
- Ensure code quality, security, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with operations, architecture, product owners, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional software development experience with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience developing and maintaining Java services using technologies such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Good knowledge of redundant, highly available applications, microservice and API-oriented system design, and application containerization with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience operating applications, for example in DevOps, application support, or SRE contexts.
- Knowledge of modern development processes, version control, and automated testing.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
- Very good English skills at least C1 and good German skills at least B2–C1.
- Cloud-native development experience, energy-sector process knowledge, regulated IT systems experience, and Scrum or Kanban experience are advantageous.
