Responsibilities
- Own the technical integration of Akamai security solutions, including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go-live.
- Analyze customer traffic and systems and customize security solutions to address customer security issues.
- Manage and document technical issues, responses, and requests.
- Provide proactive technical consulting to customers throughout engagements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to scope work, set timelines, design technical solutions, and support implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in general security technologies, processes, and concepts.
- Experience as an Application Security Engineer or Network Security Engineer.
- Knowledge of internet fundamentals, DNS, routing, HTTP or TCP, OWASP, network security products, firewalls, and server- and client-side application architecture.
- Ability to analyze customer traffic and systems and customize Akamai security solutions.
- Ability to engage, influence, and build trusted customer relationships in difficult environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, proactive problem-solving, and learning skills.
