Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Engage public-sector customers through technical pre-sales activities including tailored demos, presentations, workshops, and guidance.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop account strategies and drive GitLab adoption in government environments.
- Design and deliver proofs of concept and proofs of value, and provide technical support for tenders, audits, and proposals.
- Create Customer Success Plans documenting technical success criteria and pre-sales handoff details.
- Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders and help develop GitLab advocates.
- Represent customer feedback internally to Product, Sales, Marketing, and other teams.
- Maintain expertise in GitLab, software development, operations, and cloud practices while creating reusable customer and partner assets.
- Conduct Value Stream Assessments to identify software-delivery improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or information technology roles involving customer evaluations and solution design.
- Experience with U.S. public-sector or federal customers is preferred.
- Hands-on experience using GitLab and familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation practices.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and related technologies in regulated or security-conscious environments.
- Ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business or mission outcomes and advise senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including leading customer meetings, demos, and value-focused discussions.
- Openness to learning, receiving feedback, and building new skills, including familiarity with GitLab’s Solutions Architect handbook.
