Responsibilities

  • Architect AIStor deployments across on-premises, air-gapped, sovereign cloud, and tactical-edge environments, including erasure coding, tiering, and replication topologies.
  • Translate FIPS 140-3, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust requirements into deployable federal architectures.
  • Lead proofs of value, technical demonstrations, technical validations, and reference architecture development for federal opportunities.
  • Train and enable federal resellers, systems integrators, and technology ecosystem partners.
  • Support joint architecture, reference solutions, and co-sell activities with ecosystem partners including NVIDIA, Databricks, and Supermicro.
  • Guide deployments across Kubernetes distributions used in federal environments, including OpenShift and Rancher.
  • Architect data infrastructure for AI training, fine-tuning, data lakes, inference, and agentic AI workloads.
  • Develop technical content including reference architectures, white papers, and solution briefs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or field engineering, preferably in cloud, storage, or federal systems integration.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance; an active clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of object storage, S3-compatible platforms, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud-native/on-premises architectures.
  • Familiarity with GPU-accelerated infrastructure and data requirements for large-scale AI training and inference.
  • Familiarity with FIPS 140-3, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and DoW/IC environments such as air-gapped, classified, and DDIL deployments.
  • Ability to communicate complex architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with channel partners, systems integrators, and technology ecosystem partners is preferred.
