Responsibilities
- Integrate SoundHound’s Voice AI into automotive partner vehicles and serve as the primary technical point of contact.
- Translate partner and business requirements into technical specifications and long-term or short-term software solutions.
- Contribute to automotive Voice AI product development, including new language capabilities and platform enhancements.
- Investigate, reproduce, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate partner issues with detailed technical analysis.
- Guide automotive partners on Voice AI, NLU, ASR language development, wake words, audio processing pipelines, cloud domains, and infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Technical Program Management teams on system improvements, feature requests, and customer feedback.
- Manage project plans, partner milestones, internal timelines, risks, documentation, project scope, schedules, and deployments.
- Build and maintain strong partner relationships while leading cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and programming experience, ideally including C++.
- Experience with Linux, Python, C++, ASR, and AI technologies.
- Experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional, cross-cultural teams in a dynamic international environment.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, prioritization, documentation, and partner-facing technical support skills.
