Partner Engineer - Audio and ECNR (Automotive)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with automakers to integrate SoundHound’s Voice AI into vehicles.
- Provide technical expertise on audio frontends and their in-car integration, including echo cancellation.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for automotive partners and guide them through complex integration issues.
- Investigate, replicate, troubleshoot, resolve, test, and escalate partner issues with detailed analysis and actionable feedback.
- Translate partner and business needs into technical specifications and design short- and long-term solutions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Technical Program Management teams on system improvements, feature requests, and customer needs.
- Build and maintain project plans, align partner milestones with internal timelines, and oversee project scope, schedule, documentation, and deployment.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve integration risks while managing multiple concurrent projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in audio capture or signal processing.
- Software engineering experience with Linux, Python, C++, and ASR, along with knowledge of AI technologies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and manage complex projects in an international environment.
- Strong communication, prioritization, troubleshooting, partner-engagement, and technical problem-solving skills.
