Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated functional test scenarios for automotive systems and distributed features.
- Implement and maintain test automation code, scripts, tools, and debugging processes.
- Review requirements for testability and coordinate with development, systems, wiring, design release, and software teams.
- Log test results and valid defects in JIRA, troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, and validate fixes.
- Support system design, documentation, code reviews, sprint testing estimates, and comprehensive bug reporting.
- Maintain hardware laboratory nodes and support testing for infotainment, chassis, powertrain, ADAS, and vehicle programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field with emphasis on control systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in dynamic systems and embedded real-time controls development for automotive or similarly complex electromechanical systems.
- Experience with data analysis, scripting, and dynamic-system modeling and simulation using Python, TestRail, MATLAB, Simulink, or Stateflow.
- Experience with systems engineering tools and methods including boundary diagrams, fault tree analyses, FMEAs, and P-diagrams.
- Experience with C or C++, AUTOSAR, automotive controls, and complex systems involving dynamics, hydraulics, electric machines, batteries, and mechatronics.
- Subject matter expertise in chassis hardware and controls, including braking, steering, and suspension systems.
- Preferred experience includes ADAS feature testing, over-the-air updates, and test bench construction.
