Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain ground procedures, configurations, and automation software for specific programs and missions.
- Design and implement non-recurring Cockpit features for physical and virtual mission customers.
- Collaborate with Solutions and Software Product teams to integrate capabilities and improve products.
- Troubleshoot software and integration issues throughout development, testing, commissioning, and operations.
- Participate in satellite operations and support spacecraft commissioning.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or satellite-operations automation with meaningful software development ownership.
- Strong Python experience building maintainable automation, tooling, services, or operational workflows.
- Collaborative Git experience including branching, code review, and maintaining changes over time.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and integration issues, evaluate trade-offs, and drive problems to resolution.
- Experience with Docker and containerized development or deployment workflows.
- Experience working across multiple technical components or teams.
- Preferred experience includes satellite ground systems, mission operations, spacecraft operations, telemetry, commanding, mission planning, orbital mechanics, software integration, GitLab CI/CD, automated testing, regression testing, Django, GraphQL, Kubernetes, C++, Cue, or Linux.
