Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the core design system for engineers and designers.
- Develop scalable, reusable frontend components for consistent user experiences.
- Prototype and experiment to validate ideas before implementation.
- Establish best practices for accessibility, performance, localization, and responsiveness.
- Improve UI consistency and reduce regressions through testing and tooling.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate design components.
- Create documentation and guidelines to support system adoption.
- Enhance visual polish and interaction quality in frontend development.
- Shape an AI-forward development approach to streamline frontend processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend or fullstack engineering experience in product-driven environments.
- Experience building and scaling design systems or component libraries.
- Fluency in modern frontend technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and engineers.
- Skill in quickly prototyping and refining user interfaces.
- Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and performance best practices.
- Ability to think in systems and design for reuse.
- Clear communication skills to influence product and UI decisions.
- A founder's mindset with a focus on ownership and speed.
