Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and take architectural responsibility for software solutions.
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications across the design, build, DevOps, and run lifecycle.
- Design and evolve software architectures, including architecture principles, target states, technology stacks, high availability, and scalability.
- Analyze, resolve, and prevent production and stability issues while developing service and operational structures.
- Ensure code quality, IT security, documentation, testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Support release and operational processes and collaborate with operations, product owners, business teams, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript frameworks, ideally React.
- Strong knowledge of microservice architectures, API-centered system design, and highly available, scalable applications.
- Experience designing software architectures and operating applications, such as through DevOps, SRE, or application support.
- Knowledge of modern development processes, version control, automated testing, containerization, and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and critical infrastructures.
- Very good English skills at C1 level and good German skills at B2–C1 level.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud-native development experience, knowledge of energy-sector processes such as FCR, aFRR, and mFRR, experience with regulated IT systems, and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban.
