Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, project management, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Build, maintain, and improve scalable web applications while enforcing code quality through test-driven development.
  • Support software throughout its lifecycle, including new implementations, technical maintenance, documentation, and architectural changes.
  • Review code and pull requests to ensure product and design specifications are met.
  • Mentor and support developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, technical leadership, and constructive feedback.
  • Recommend improvements to development, coding, maintenance, and system standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building highly scalable and performant modern JavaScript/TypeScript web applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to write well-documented, clear, and robust code.
  • Experience integrating API specifications while collaborating with service teams.
  • Ability to manage projects from beginning to end, design workflows, and complete tasks under urgent timelines.
  • Ability to mentor developers and provide constructive technical feedback.
  • Preferred experience shipping production React/Node.js applications with high availability and throughput on cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Preferred understanding of web accessibility fundamentals, web standards, and emerging technologies.
