Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build backend services, APIs, and data flows for account management and growth features.
- Develop frontend features across landing pages and the purchase funnel using React and Next.js.
- Drive growth through rapid experimentation, A/B testing, feature flags, and data-driven development.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers during product discovery and ideation.
- Use AI coding assistants responsibly by evaluating and validating generated code.
- Write clean, well-tested code and improve system debugging, performance, and engineering processes.
- Help set technical direction and identify and remove roadblocks in a fast-moving team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 4–6 years of experience delivering working software, preferably web applications.
- Backend experience in Go or another compiled language with willingness to learn Go quickly.
- Experience with Postgres, Redis/Valkey, or similar databases.
- Experience evaluating and validating output from AI coding assistants such as Claude or Cursor.
- Knowledge of immutability concepts, CSS, responsive design, A/B testing, feature flags, and analytics development.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git, plus familiarity with at least one mature MV* framework.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Kubernetes experience and understanding of engineering best practices for SEO are preferred.
