Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement workflow orchestration for media and AI pipelines, including routing, scheduling, approvals, retries, and error handling.
- Build platform services, reusable workflow templates, SDKs, and integration patterns that standardize execution across environments.
- Partner with AI/ML stakeholders on model selection, production integration, versioning, deployment, rollback, evaluation, and governance.
- Implement workflow validation, automated quality gates, production-readiness criteria, documentation, runbooks, and support handoffs.
- Build production-grade services, improve CI/CD pipelines, and ensure structured logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and operational supportability.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis, automate repetitive operational tasks, and improve reliability in collaboration with platform and SRE teams.
- Translate internal user and operator needs into software requirements, APIs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.
- Support internal clients and, when applicable, external partners through reliable, visible, automated, and repeatable delivery patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production services, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Strong experience with cloud-native development practices, containers, service orchestration concepts, and CI/CD delivery.
- Strong programming ability in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript, with experience building APIs and integrations.
- Experience integrating with SQL or NoSQL data systems, message or event systems, and authentication and authorization patterns.
- Experience evaluating and integrating practical AI/ML capabilities into production systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement durable fixes.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience with workflow orchestration tools, event-driven architectures, observability tooling, SRE practices, LLM APIs, vector databases, inference services, AI/ML inference integration, MLOps, model evaluation or fine-tuning, Kubernetes, OpenShift, infrastructure as code, or live media and broadcast concepts.
