Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and operate cloud-scale distributed systems for Azure NetApp Files.
- Contribute across software development, automated validation, performance, operational readiness, and service reliability.
- Drive architecture, design, and delivery of complex enterprise-scale software systems.
- Take ownership of systems from initial design through production.
- Address scalability, reliability, observability, automation, and security challenges.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software or systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with storage and data management platforms such as ONTAP or similar technologies.
- 10+ years of technical leadership experience.
- Strong background in distributed systems, cloud storage, file systems, databases, or infrastructure services.
- Expertise in Go/Golang and Python for automation and CI/CD.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud-native platforms.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or cloud technologies are preferred.
