Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into detailed application and module design specifications.
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable, and secure enterprise software.
- Provide architecture and design recommendations and complexity estimates for development requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, technical specialists, and multifunctional agile teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Create and execute automated tests and participate in unit testing, code reviews, refinement, and planning sessions.
- Coach and mentor team members, review code with junior staff, and drive improvements in operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture design and development.
- Expertise in Java, Python, and/or JavaScript, with experience in cloud technology, SQL, and databases.
- Knowledge of distributed system design and implementation, architecture guidelines, development practices, programming styles, frameworks, and design patterns.
- Understanding of security implications, secure coding, automated testing, and Test Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum and JIRA.
- Strong English communication skills, clean and readable coding ability, reusable component development, and effective interpersonal skills.
- Experience with emerging technology such as AI is advantageous.
