Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle from business requirements and technology selection through coding standards, development, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend platforms and data pipelines.
- Build stable, fault-tolerant, high-performance systems serving millions of users.
- Make architectural decisions and set technical vision, standards, and direction for the team.
- Implement advanced CI/CD pipelines and robust testing strategies.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and technology goals.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience developing performance-critical production applications using Scala, Java, Kotlin, or relevant modern programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or comparable systems.
- Ability to direct significant company-wide projects and set technical vision.
- Deep involvement in architectural decisions and setting team standards and direction.
- Good command of English and strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
- Preferred: knowledge of NoSQL databases, queueing systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or MSMQ, and Play Framework.
