Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle from business requirements and technology selection through coding, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable platforms and data pipelines serving millions of users.
- Build stable, fault-tolerant, highly performant systems and improve system performance.
- Direct significant company-wide projects and establish technical vision, architecture, standards, and team direction.
- Mentor engineers and help improve code quality across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product and technology goals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing performance-critical applications in production using Scala, Java, Kotlin, or other modern programming languages.
- Strong relational database management system knowledge, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or another RDBMS.
- Ability to direct significant company-wide projects and set technical vision.
- Deep involvement in architectural decisions and setting standards and direction for the team.
- Experience implementing advanced CI/CD pipelines and robust testing strategies.
- Good command of the English language and a passion for continuous software-development improvement.
