Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support AI-based automation frameworks and CI pipelines for UI and non-UI use cases.
- Create and maintain automated UI test scripts using Playwright and develop testing frameworks for data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
- Automate and validate databases and non-UI systems including GraphQL, APIs, microservices, and gRPC services.
- Evaluate technical solutions across hybrid on-premises and cloud, multi-tier architectures.
- Lead and mentor teams, coordinate test execution, train and support users, and partner with development and QA on test strategy.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot software and hardware configuration issues, and improve the automation lifecycle.
- Support production changes, UAT testing, and debugging of production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years leading and setting up automation frameworks for UI and non-UI systems, including 5+ years with Playwright and Cypress.
- 8+ years of software design, development, testing, and deployment experience, including Java or C++ backend development with socket TCP messaging and JavaScript.
- 5+ years supporting and improving existing automation frameworks.
- 4+ years of experience with Linux/Unix and Docker.
- 3+ years setting up CI pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab and 3+ years automating non-UI systems.
- Strong SQL and DBMS knowledge plus experience with hybrid architectures and automated testing.
- Preferred qualifications include TypeScript, React.js, JUnit, AWS, Splunk, Git, financial applications, production support, UAT testing, and production debugging.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and process-improvement skills.
