
Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer

- Design, develop, and maintain reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, content models, and publishing capabilities.
- Develop Java services, servlets, schedulers, Sling Models, OSGi services, and secure REST API integrations.
- Build responsive frontend applications and reusable UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, and AEM Sites or Headless CMS.
- Integrate AEM with Adobe Marketing Cloud products, CRM systems, marketing automation, analytics platforms, and third-party enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot authoring, publishing, Dispatcher, replication, and production issues while providing Level 3 application support.
- Optimize AEM performance, Dispatcher caching, content delivery, scalability, reliability, Core Web Vitals, and application performance.
- Implement authentication, authorization, XSS protection, CSRF prevention, accessibility, SEO, and other web security practices.
- Support AEM upgrades, patches, migrations to AEM as a Cloud Service, source control, Maven builds, Cloud Manager pipelines, and release planning.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and adherence to coding and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, UX designers, QA teams, content authors, business stakeholders, DevOps teams, and external vendors.
- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, participate in architecture discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience developing Adobe Experience Manager solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Deep expertise with AEM Sites, AEM components, content architecture, templates, OSGi, Sling Models, Dispatcher configuration, and AEM workflows.
- Strong Java experience, including Java 11 or above, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, Maven, REST APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
- Frontend development experience with JavaScript ES6+, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, jQuery, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM Managed Services, Adobe Cloud Manager, and CI/CD release processes.
- Knowledge of Adobe Assets, Headless CMS, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics 4.
- Experience integrating Salesforce, SAP, marketing automation platforms, analytics systems, or other enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Dispatcher caching, CDN optimization, web security, SEO, WCAG 2.x, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, AEM Mocks, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Adobe Certified Professional or Expert AEM Sites Developer certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and mentoring skills.
