Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise application architectures, technical roadmaps, solution designs, integration strategies, API architectures, data flows, and architecture documentation.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, standards, mentoring, and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Lead legacy application modernization, enterprise cloud migration, technical-debt reduction, and migration of applications and services to Microsoft Azure Government.
- Define cloud architecture, deployment strategies, CI/CD and DevSecOps implementation, infrastructure automation, configuration management, release planning, and deployment activities.
- Ensure application architectures address federal cybersecurity, secure coding, vulnerability remediation, ATO, Zero Trust, identity management, accessibility, privacy, and records management requirements.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal program, development, business analysis, and QA leaders on technical recommendations, demonstrations, estimates, risks, prioritization, and planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise software solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical leadership or solution architecture roles.
- Experience leading Agile software development teams and designing cloud-based application architectures with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with enterprise systems integration and RESTful API design, modern software architecture, and secure software development practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) Background Investigation.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and Security+.
- Preferred experience includes Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online modernization, Azure Government GCC Medium/GCC High, legacy modernization, cloud migration, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, Section 508, DevSecOps, enterprise integration platforms, IAM, and Zero Trust architecture.
