Base Salary
$131k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex cloud solutions aligned with Microsoft methodologies, customer business outcomes, operational readiness, adoption, consumption, security, resiliency, AI, cost, and performance goals.
- Translate customer and partner problems into Microsoft-aligned architectures, business models, proofs of concept, minimally viable products, and digital transformation solutions.
- Provide technical pre-sales support, clarify complex opportunities, orchestrate partner and sales teams, and identify cross-solution expansion and utilization opportunities.
- Manage technical and business risks, blockers, governance, delivery processes, and operational excellence across customer engagements.
- Build relationships with technical, business, security, and executive stakeholders, including CIO, CISO, and other C-suite leaders.
- Share customer insights with engineering and product teams, influence product roadmaps and bug prioritization, and develop scalable intellectual property and frameworks.
- Lead and mentor virtual teams and colleagues, drive upskilling and accreditation readiness, and represent Microsoft at technical and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field plus 7+ years of relevant cloud, infrastructure, IT consulting, architecture, development, support, or technology solutions experience, or equivalent experience.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to satisfy Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- U.S. citizenship, with citizenship verification required because of federal government customer restrictions.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 6+ years in customer-facing roles and 6+ years leading technical projects.
- Preferred: technical cloud certification such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or a security certification.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $130,900-$251,900 per year; San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area ranges differ.
- The role requires successful verification of security clearance, a Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter, and U.S. citizenship verification.
