Base Salary
$136k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction, code-level guidance, design reviews, performance reviews, and technical roadmap planning.
- Architect distributed ML systems serving multiple global products and standardize infrastructure patterns for LLM serving and retrieval systems.
- Define and implement enterprise-ready agentic frameworks and multi-step reasoning systems.
- Lead decisions between deterministic workflows and autonomous agents.
- Implement guardrails, safety layers, traceability mechanisms, and evaluation frameworks for reasoning quality, hallucination rates, and reliability.
- Establish ML engineering best practices, CI/CD standards, enterprise data governance, and responsible AI compliance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of machine learning or software engineering experience.
- Master's or bachelor's degree; a computer science degree is highly desirable.
- Strong software engineering background with experience in system design and architecting AI features or products for large user bases and high volumes of unstructured data.
- Experience deploying machine learning systems to production.
