Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance mission-critical environments for new and existing cloud-native products and services.
  • Improve monitoring, observability, reliability, performance, and automation in collaboration with product development teams.
  • Manage infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot client onboarding and operational issues.
  • Build automation to reduce manual toil and improve engineering velocity, developer experience, and system reliability.
  • Define and manage service-level objectives and error budgets with engineering teams.
  • Perform capacity planning, disaster recovery, configuration management, platform readiness, and operational support.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management, including rotational evening shifts and weekend or on-call support.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams on designs and operational improvements.
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities, support threat hunting, and improve compliance scores using Defender for Cloud and KQL.
  • Support client onboarding projects and live production operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Azure and infrastructure as code using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, distributed tracing, application reliability platforms, and synthetic monitoring.
  • Experience configuring identity provider solutions and implementing SAML, OAuth, and OIDC access protocols.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel, KQL, vulnerability remediation, networking, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Kusto, SQL, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Proficiency with IT service management practices, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Experience managing both onboarding projects and live production operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams and continue learning within the product area.
