Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deliver high-quality software for RBC’s Investment Mega Journey portfolio.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications and microservices supporting online investment-account journeys.
- Deliver and support production features while applying quality controls and troubleshooting production issues.
- Implement accessibility testing, microfrontend architecture, and performance improvements through efficient asset bundling with Webpack.
- Write unit and integration tests using tools such as Cypress, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and squad teams in an Agile product environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Angular 18+.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, state management, accessibility, unit testing, and Google Analytics.
- Ability to conduct accessibility testing and understand security vulnerabilities such as XSS and prototype pollution.
- Experience developing distributed cloud applications with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, and Docker.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs and interface specifications including Swagger, RAML, and SOAP.
- Knowledge of security gateways and protocols including JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSL certificates.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, CI/CD, and thorough pre-release testing.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and team-working skills.
- Knowledge of microfrontend architecture, Webpack, TDD, and Agile development is preferred.
- Additional listed technologies and skills include Java, Java Spring, microservices architecture, and SQL.
