Base Salary

$74k - $118k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for critical business applications.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Develop, test, and deploy application fixes, enhancements, and minor features using Java and Spring technologies.
  • Analyze SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to diagnose issues and improve performance.
  • Partner with business users to gather requirements, provide systems guidance, and translate technical issues into business impact.
  • Participate in release validation, user acceptance testing, production deployments, and project implementation activities.
  • Monitor application health and improve reliability, stability, and supportability.
  • Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting and developing enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience troubleshooting relational databases.
  • Experience debugging issues across application, database, and integration layers.
  • Experience in production support, application support, or DevOps-oriented environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Experience with Oracle databases is preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure cloud technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with deployment processes and knowledge of monitoring and observability tools are preferred.
  • Financial services experience is a plus.
