Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and troubleshoot efficient, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Lead technical discussions, propose solutions, and contribute to team and company objectives.
- Independently lead medium-sized projects or components from start to finish.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive constructive changes to team performance and efficiency.
- Analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
- Share knowledge and best practices while mentoring junior engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to communicate technical concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience, primarily focused on backend development.
- Experience with Node.js, microservices, Docker, cloud services, and deployment automation tools.
- Experience with AWS CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with WebSockets, Pub/Sub, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong understanding of code architecture, design principles, problem-solving, communication, and analytical thinking.
- Preferred experience with Svelte, SvelteKit, or other server-side rendering frameworks such as React with Next.js, Vue with Nuxt, or Quasar.
- Preferred proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and Storybook.
