Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and convert them into feasible software and system designs.
- Develop, modify, test, debug, and maintain software modules and system solutions.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Analyze system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend performance or availability improvements.
- Support installation of new systems and modifications to existing systems.
- Coordinate deployments, monitoring, implementation activities, and adherence to release schedules.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and project status updates.
- Communicate with clients, capture requirements and clarifications, respond to requests, and track faults and feedback.
- Coordinate with functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in ongoing training and certifications to maintain current technical skills.
Requirements
- Mandatory SAP BASIS skills.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design software solutions, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Experience with coding, software testing, debugging, validation, and performance improvement.
- Ability to document technical solutions and provide accurate status reports.
- Strong client coordination, communication, customer-service, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
