Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend features for Taktile's AI agent platform in Python.
- Collaborate on scope, implement, test, release, and iterate based on customer feedback.
- Improve agent performance and connectivity to external tools.
- Utilize leading-edge AI tools to enhance development speed and quality.
- Review pull requests and improve test coverage and CI/CD processes.
- Participate in team rituals such as daily syncs and planning sessions.
- Engage in daytime ops duty and join an on-call rotation as needed.
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals with a focus on simplicity and precision.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Prior industry experience with Python back-end development.
- Experience building and operating RESTful APIs and working with databases.
- Experience integrating into AWS or similar cloud providers.
- Ideally, experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, DynamoDB, or Postgres.
