Base Salary
$102k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Propose and design solutions for complex business needs and prepare technical and procedural documentation.
- Facilitate complex problem resolution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
- Review software coding, testing, and documentation.
- Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
- Guide and mentor a team of engineers while collaborating cross-functionally.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, and microservices.
- Experience designing solutions with core Java, SQL/MySQL, ActiveMQ, and Kafka.
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems, REST and GraphQL API frameworks, and persistence stores.
- Proficiency in relational and NoSQL database design and optimization.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Typically requires 3 or more years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience includes Elasticsearch, Redis, React, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Gradle, and JUnit.
- Preferred knowledge includes performance tuning, application security, scalability, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and SAFe.
