Base Salary
$86k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of end-to-end features across Java backend services and Angular frontend applications.
- Own architecture decisions involving APIs, UI state management, performance, security, scalability, and cloud-native patterns.
- Build and maintain backend services, frontend components, integrations, and application architecture.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and full-stack development best practices.
- Promote unit, integration, contract, component, and automated testing across backend and frontend systems.
- Champion observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes deployments, environment configuration, releases, and production support.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical design and code reviews, support hiring and onboarding, and drive knowledge sharing.
- Work with product managers, UX designers, QA, and platform teams on planning, estimation, delivery, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Strong experience with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and full-stack application development.
- Ability to lead architecture and development across backend and frontend systems.
- Experience with automated testing, application delivery, technical troubleshooting, and application integration.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered.
- Certifications are often desired, but no certification or license is required.
