Base Salary
$194k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build automation tooling to reduce manual effort in insight generation.
- Design and implement data pipelines for processing unstructured data.
- Build self-service tooling for cross-functional teams to access insights.
- Develop monitoring systems to ensure insight quality and pipeline reliability.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create enterprise-grade experiences.
- Build APIs and interfaces for Intelligence Layer capabilities.
- Centralize and standardize data collection and transformation approaches.
- Support reporting teams in delivering consistent business insights.
- Build data quality checks and validation systems.
- Own components throughout their lifecycle from planning to maintenance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong software engineering practices including coding and unit testing.
- Experience with modern backend tech stacks, preferably Ruby and Elixir.
- Proficiency in frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
- Experience building data pipelines and working with large-scale data processing.
- Comfort with both structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with analytics or BI platforms like Snowflake or Looker.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
