Base Salary
$130k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build cloud-native backend services using Scala, Akka, and ZIO.
- Design and implement performant APIs and applications for the iCapital platform.
- Develop unit and integration tests using ScalaTest.
- Participate in stand-up meetings, peer code reviews, software development, and change management processes.
- Support clients through system integrations and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with the Investments Product Management team throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering.
- At least 9 years of web-based application development experience.
- At least 2 years of Scala experience.
- Understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices.
- Node.js or Java experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
