Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.
- Build secure RESTful and microservices-based architectures.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver features end-to-end.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and manage database schemas, queries, and integrations.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of backend development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Java with Spring Boot, Node.js, Python with Django or Flask, or .NET Core.
- Experience building APIs and web services with strong object-oriented and/or functional programming knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis, along with data modeling and query optimization.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API security, asynchronous processing, messaging systems, and caching strategies.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with attention to detail.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Azure, GCP, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, New Relic, Prometheus, and test-driven development.
