Base Salary
$86k - $127k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support health insurance applications using mainframe technologies.
- Provide both application development and production support.
- Use PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, SORT, SAS, REXX, and related mainframe technologies.
- Debug applications using IDB and IDZ.
- Push and deploy code using Git.
- Coordinate activities between product owners and business units to close open action items.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, and SORT.
- Strong experience developing and supporting health insurance applications, excluding group health insurance.
- Experience with COBOL, SAS, REXX, VSAM, and other mainframe technologies.
- Knowledge of web services, REST APIs, JSON, and message queues such as MQ.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and pipelines.
- AWS cloud awareness and AI capabilities are preferred.
